Get in Touch

This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody or release, free anyone, post bond, or pull an official booking record. Contact the agency that keeps the record.

Choose the Record Holder

The right contact depends on the custody event. The official Leake County Sheriff page is the current source for sheriff and jail contact details. The sheriff is county jailer and keeps the jail docket, so that office is the first stop for a local booking, actual release time, release reason, transfer destination, or booking photograph. Research did not confirm a stable sheriff street address, direct jail number, records-unit line, or office schedule suitable for republication. Use the official page rather than an unverified directory entry.

The Circuit Clerk can provide participating criminal case files and certified court orders. A court record may explain the legal authority for release, while the sheriff record supplies the physical release timestamp. MDOC Records handles state face sheets, time computation, release or discharge data, and other state-custody material. Give the MDOC number when known.

  • For a local jail exit, ask the sheriff for the named booking and jail-docket release entry.
  • For the full person-search and request process, begin on the Leake County released inmate search.
  • For active post-release supervision, use Parole / Probation and the MDOC office identified by the record.
  • For recent jail exits, use Released Last 24 Hours and request a fixed timestamp interval when no official feed is available.
  • For a state sentence date or custody alert, use Inmate Release Date or VINELink Release Check.
  • For a particular institution, use the facility links below and follow the record route for that facility type.
  • For federal or immigration custody, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons or ICE locator and then contact the agency holding the record.
